Andrew "Jack" Anderson, age 78, of Douglas, Wyoming, passed away on September 29th, and Wyoming passed away on September 29, 2024, in Casper, Wyoming. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at the Lusk Cemetery.
He is survived by his son, John Anderson of San Antonio, Texas, his wife, Denyse, and their daughter, Sarah. His son Steven Anderson of Westminster, Colorado, his wife Milena, a Stepdaughter Jill Haley, her husband Ray, and their son Raylan.
Jack grew up north of Lusk, Wyoming, on Young Woman Creek as an only child on the Anderson cattle ranch
He attended rural school in Niobrara County and was a 4H member that was proud to show lambs at the Wyoming State Fair.
Jack graduated from Lusk High School and received an electrical engineering degree from the University of Wyoming in 1969.
Jack served his country in the United States Army in a non-combat role from 1969 to 1971.
Jack worked as an Electrical engineer in the mining industry for his professional career until he returned to the Anderson family ranch in the early 1980's
Where he lived and worked until his retirement in 2003.
Jack notably worked as the construction inspector for the Lusk Middle School. Jack's hobbies were Civil War history, World War II history, and coin collecting. Jack is preceded in death by his parents Emilia and Gaylord Anderson, his first wife, Barbara, and his recent wife, Mickey.
