Danny Eugene Scott

Memorial services for Danny Eugene Scott, will be Tuesday November 14, at 2:00 p.pm. at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds Auditorium. Danny age 70, passed away November 8, 2017 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming. He had battled kidney and liver failure. Danny's family was close by his side as he peacefully went home to be with his heavenly family.

Danny was born October 1, 1947 to Lloyd and Nadine (Curts) Scott in Lynch, Nebraska. His family moved around Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming following is father's construction jobs. The Scott family finally settled in Lusk, Wyoming where Danny graduated from Niobrara County High School in 1967.

In 1970, Danny married the love of his life, Deborah Wilmes. To this union they had two daughters, Danielle and Dawn. He was very proud of his girls. He loved sharing his knowledge of woodworking with them. He enjoyed coaching and playing softball and also coached t-ball.

During his life, Danny worked various jobs. He drove semi- truck, worked for Ruby and Harry Brown at both Rancher's Feed and Rancher's Lumber, and worked road construction with his brother, Gary. Danny later went to work for the Niobrara County School District as an activity bus driver and retired after twenty-nine years of driving. He loved going to sports activities and cheering on the Lusk Tigers. He will always be remembered for his sweet and easy-going personality, kindness, sense of humor and a one-of-a- kind chuckle. Hi likeable manner made him a friend to everyone he met.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gary and Donald, nephew Sheldon and niece Shauna. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Debbie, daughters Danielle (Rob)Byers of Maricopa, Arizona and Dawn Scott (Justin Collins) of Lusk, Wyoming, Special niece Stephanie Scott of Lusk, Wyoming. Sister Janice (Dale)Myren of Mesa, Arizona, brother Terry(Rita)Scott of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Grandchildren Olivia Byers, Ian Byers, Camdon Fitzwater, Shatto Smith, Shilo Sherman, Tatum Stallman, and Talan Stallman. Along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the family. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
