Gary Gay Lamb, 87, peacefully passed away on April 11, 2025, at his home in Lusk, Wyoming. He was born on October 17, 1937, to Norman (Shorty) Lamb and Margaret Rathburn Lamb, south of Manville, WY. He is survived by his wife, Lala Miles Lamb, son Lyle Lamb of Lusk, WY daughter Gayla (Randy) Johnson of South Wever, UT, and son Gary (Lisa) Lamb of Pine Bluffs, WY, Sisters Bobetta (George) Etchemendy of Lost Springs, WY, Bonnie (Wayne) King of Spearfish, SD, brother Larry (Patty) Lamb of Torrington, WY, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He made his choice to serve his father in Heaven in June 1977 and was faithful until his death. He married Lala Miles on June 29, 1958, in Lusk, Wyoming. He worked for his father's construction company from 1958-1965. He then moved to the family ranch/farm two miles East of Manville and moved to Lusk in 2023. He served in the Wyoming National Guard from 1955-1963.
We will greatly miss his smile, kindness, and good sense of humor. He is preceded in death by his father, Norman (Shorty) Lamb, his mother, Margaret Rathburn Lamb, his twin brother Jerry Lamb, brother Jack Lamb, three nieces, and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Senior Citizen Center, Niobrara Ambulance, or pledge a donation to a charity of your choosing.
