George L. Johnson was born in Denver, CO, April 29, 1940 to Edna (Struck) (Johnson) and George Panola. George passed away on December 11, 2020 at age 80.

George served in both the Air Force and the Army for 21 years. He worked in law enforcement as a polygrapher for both the State of California and the State of Kansas after retiring from the military. He enjoyed his retirement years on Sanibel Island in Florida.

George's passions in life were for his family, justice, and golf. Becoming a licensed pilot was one of the highlights of his life.

George is survived by his wife, Cindy Feagan Johnson; his children Fleeta Gregory of Lambert, MT and Steven Johnson of Sacramento, CA; his siblings Yoy Johnson of Torrington, WYO, and Janet Seiver of Denver, CO; two grandsons; and step-mother Vera Panola.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Elane Hamlett Johnson; his sister Barbara Panola Decker; his parents.

A gravesite celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
