Graveside Service
Jacque Lee Boyles, 88, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on March 16, 2026, after a life lived with purpose, patriotism, and quiet strength.
Born on July 29, 1937, in the wide-open lands of Van Tassell, Wyoming, Jacque carried the spirit of his western roots with him wherever life took him. At 18 years old, he answered the call of his country by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served for 25 distinguished years. His dedication to service and country was a cornerstone of who he was — a man of discipline, loyalty, and honor.
After his military career, Jacque brought those same qualities to his work with Beech Aerospace, where he had the opportunity to travel the world - a testament to a life that stretched far beyond the Wyoming plains where it began. He settled in Collinsville, Illinois, where he made his home for over 40 years. Yet, no matter how far life took him, his heart never truly left the homestead in Van Tassell.
Jacque is survived by his beloved wife, Juanita Boyles; his children, Crystal MeNamee and Michael Boyles; son-in-law, Patrick McNamee; and grandchildren, Jacque, Ben, and Sam MeNamee. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert Solick and his wife Susan Solick, Margaret Burnett, and Patricia Solick; his sister-in-law Ruth Powell; his dear Aunt Dorothy West; and the extended West family. He is reunited in memory with his late mother, Leota Solick; his late brother William Powell; and his grandparents, Victor and Elsie West, who helped shape the man he became. He was also a dear uncle, nephew, brother-in-law, cousin, and friend to many.
He leaves behind a legacy of service, adventure, and devotion — to his country, his family, and the Wyoming land he always called home.
Semper Fidelis, Jacque. You are at peace.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jacque’s name to your local ASPCA, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or The Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 pm, Monday, March 23, 2026, from the chapel of HERR Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois.
