Lucille (Larson) Shoults passed away Nov. 18, 2021 in Lusk, Wyoming, moving from her earthly home to a heavenly home “prepared” for her by her Savior, Jesus Christ. (John 14:1-3) Lucille was born October 13, 1926, in Harrison Nebraska to parents Tony and Ethel Larson.
Lucille was raised on the family ranch north of Van Tassell with her two sisters, Gayle and Doris. Lucille met Rex Shoults at Prairie Center, when she attended a dance with her parents. They were married four years later, May 10, 1944. After residing in Jay Em for a few years, they moved to the Larson Ranch in 1953. Lucille was involved in Niobrara Co. Cow-Belles (NCCW) and PEO, as well as the Node Sunday School. She loved her home and her wonderful neighbors.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Rex, parents Anton (Tony) and Ethel Larson, and infant sister Olive Mae, sister Gayle (Gilbert) Bernbeck, and sister Doris Jean (Al) Taylor.
Lucille is survived by her son, Ron (Georgia) Shoults; grandsons Travis (Morgan) and Skeeter (Carla); granddaughters Hanna, and Jayci (Joel) Odermann; great-grandchildren Truett and Amaris Shoults, Huxsley and Paisley Shoults, and Kimber Odermann; and much-loved extended family members.
