Vicki Frazee Obituary

Vicki Lou (Hudgens) Frazee, age 63, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017, at Central Wyoming Hospice & Transitions in Casper, WY after a short battle with cancer. She was very determined to beat this, and we had her with us for six more months. She was very stubborn and strong willed; once her mind was made up, no one could change it.

Vicki was born Saturday, November 28th, 1953 in Greeley Colorado, one of seven children born to the late Joseph and Hazel (Hendricks) Hudgens. She grew up in Horse Creek, Wyoming; Greeley, Colorado; and Albuquerque, New Mexico. She met her first husband Harry G. "Buddy" Frazee in Albuquerque and they were married May 27th, 1972. To this Union four children were born, two sons and two daughters. She later married Sam Blaney of Lusk, Wyoming on June 12, 1998.

Vicki has lived here for the last 38 years and considered Lusk her home. She loved people and would do anything she could to help if needed. She was well known as a waitress in several establishments in Lusk. She was very proud of her children, grandchildren, and especially her great grandchildren Lexi and David.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Donna; husband Buddy; an infant daughter, Jana Marie (Dec 1978); and daughter, Jodie Craggs (2001). Jodie had three children that Vicki was mom and grandma to for fifteen years.

She is survived by two sons, Joe Frazee of Crawford, NE and Jason Frazee of Lusk, WY; grandchildren Amy Kingma, Paul Force, and Jason Craggs all of Lusk, WY and Kortney, Jessica, and Gabe Frazee of Crawford, NE; one sister, Judy Smith of Lusk; four brothers-Jim of Newport News, VA & wife Sally, Joe of Lusk, Gary of Anderson, MO and Dan of Lanagan, MO; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 2nd at 2:00 pm at Pier Funeral Home, Lusk, WY. She will be cremated and a private family burial service will be held at a later date.
