Helen Jennette Briscoe {Moore] Farrington was born January 14th 1931. She got her angel wings Oct 11th 2022.
She was born to Carl and Margaret Briscoe in Casper, Wy. She made her home in Keeline, Wyoming on a homestead were she and her brother grew up. She attended school in Keeline and Manville. She met her first love John Moore Jr. at a dance in Keeline. They married on Oct 1st, 1947. With this union 3 children were born. Rita, Randy, and Yodi Moore. They made their home on the family ranch near Lance Creek, until the accidental death of John Moore Jr. Jan 14th,1966. Jennette and family moved to Dayton, Wyoming in the fall of 1968 where she went back to school at Tongue River High school and received her diploma at the age of 38.
When Jennette moved to Dayton in the fall of 1968, she went back to school to get her high school diploma, so when 2 of her kids and 5 of the granddaughters went to high school the teachers would say I taught your MOM and Grandmother. They were kind of embarrassed. She then went to cosmetology school and graduated in 1971 and become employed at Eventide nursing home in Sheridan. She really liked working there and loved to hear the old timer’s stories. She was a hard worker all her life. When she remarried and lived in Kaycee, she loved when some of the grand kids would come to stay with her. They would say she had the best dirt for making mud pies. She liked to crochet, and square dance when Keith called them. They did this up until their health declined. In her younger years she was involved in 4-H, PTA in Lance creek, taught Sunday school in Lance creek community church and doing things on the ranch.
She married Keith Farrington on March 24th, 1975 they made their home outside of Kaycee. Her husband Keith passed away on January 22, 2022. She continued to live at her home in Kaycee, cared for by her daughter Yodi and son-in-law Jonathan Miles, until her health declined and she had to be placed in a nursing home in Casper.
She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Margaret Briscoe, brother Pete Briscoe, 1st husband John Moore Jr., 2nd husband Keith Farrington, daughter Rita Hubbard, and son Randy Moore.
She is survived by her daughter Yodi Moore Miles (Jonathan), step-sons Kenny and Karl Farrington, 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
